New Safe Place
Turn Features into Benefits
The mission of this video was to support a news event, communicating both features and benefits.
Situation and approach
Willow Domestic Violence Center had a milestone accomplishment to celebrate – the opening of their first stand-alone shelter for people escaping imminent harm. But, they had a dilemma. For obvious reasons, they could not bring the media to a secret site.
The approach was to combine emotionally powerful images and voices with text emphasizing the impacts of new features.
Collaborating with DeBergerac Productions, we combined new footage, existing footage, dramatic readings, and multiple volunteer actors to share both the quantifiable specifications of the new shelter and what that means to the community.
Cheshire AV also collaborated to provide a live broadcast from the shelter to the public offices.
